Yoga & My Dog

This summer Clay and I have been taking a Yoga class. He needed a P.E. credit and I told him that if he took something I was interested in we could take it together. Yoga was listed under "Yoga and Relaxation" in the course catalog and it was the last bit of that title, "Relaxation", that caught Clay's attention as he was studying for spring finals and picking out his summer course.

I have wanted to learn Yoga for a while so I was excited to take the course. I am NOT flexible so I expected to make a fool of myself but I've been pleasantly surprised by some of the things I can do. Anyhow, if you've ever taken a Yoga class you know that many of the moves are named after animals. So there is "down dog" and "up dog" and "cat" and "monkey" and "pigeon" ect... But of course everyone's favorite move is "child". To demonstrate I took this picture of Baxter to show the perfect "child" pose. Prior to Yoga Clay and I thought it was a bear pose... but now we know!
