Every year our church hosts baby Sunday (technically it's called Legacy Sunday but everyone calls it baby Sunday). On baby Sunday they invite all of the babies born in the prior year (and their parents) to a special service that's focused on encouraging new parents and saying a blessing for the new families. It's a neat experience and every year they have a slide show with cute pics of all the babies. This year we got to participate along with several of our friends. For the first time in my life I was a trend setter and once Clay and I got pregnant all of our friends decided to join in the fun. And for extra excitement baby Sunday fell on Pierce's 7 month birthday! While we are blessed to have lots of good friends our age to share in the parenting adventure, we are also blessed to have many surrogate grandparents who love Pierce as well. It's really a great church family we have!

I think Pierce looks more like you in pictures, and more like Clay in person. How is that possible?
