Goodbye Michael
One of my favorite authors of all time passed away this weekend. Michael Crichton gave us sci-fi with just enough reality to make it believable. After all he brought dinosaurs back to life! If you've never read his work two of my favorites are Sphere and State of Fear. And of course there is always his most famous work Jurrasic Park which was my first exposure to Crichton when my best friend Amanda and I raced through it in 7th grade. Goodbye Michael, you'll be missed.

Sad. I loved his books!
I was so sad to hear this. Sphere is one of the best books ever. I like all of his books, though. I forgot about us racing through Jurassic Park - the two of us and wasn't it Eric Tanner??
I remember that, too!
