The big 3!

The third trimester that is!

You got that folks, we have officially moved to the third trimester. Itty Bitty will be here before we know it (or are ready).

Speaking of Itty Bitty, I had my second ultrasound today. Originally I was only going to have one ultrasound, but during the first one they found fibroid tumors. While my midwife was not concerned they wanted to take a second look in the third trimester to make sure the tumors hadn't grown and weren't interfering with fetal development or our planned natural delivery. The tech thought everything looked good but we will know more in the next couple of weeks when I see the midwife again.

It's also been an abnormally warm spring here in Oklahoma. Last year we spent a good deal of our time just trying to get the yard to come in. This year Clay and I took the big leap and put in trees!!! We are so excited. We got 9 trees and can't wait until they are big and beautiful (in 50 years or so)!

I really need to go take pics now that they have leaves. We had 9 trees planted in total. We have 2 bald Cyprus, 2 autumn blaze maples, 2 fruitless sweet gums, 2 lace bark elms and 1 Chinese pistach. They are FABULOUS!!

Also with the warm temperatures our front garden is looking AMAZING! Last year my friend Jimmie and his wife Aubrey helped us plan the front flower beds. All we had to do was implement. We LOVE the results. Clay has been using this as a chance to hone his photography skills in advance of Itty Bitty's arrival.
